Our preferred method of digital camera capture, is second to none, we obtain images using a specialist frame grabber and video source such as an 8 mm video camcorder, which can produce 8 times over sampled images (Typically Hi-def 1500 x 1125 ppi), that can be captured live and directly onto a very large hard or ZIP drive connected to a portable PC. This method also allows digital image capture from video tape at a later time,  and can take pictures in a 0 luxe situation, as well as having the capability to capture mono images using infra red illumination in total darkness, without the subject being aware of filming, apart from obvious clandestine use's, this is ideal for capturing nocturnal creatures for example.
